Zoroaster
Zoroastro (en griego: Ζωροάστρης, Zōroástrēs) o Zarathustra (en avéstico: Zarathuštra), castellanizado Zaratustra, o también Zarathushtra Spitama o Ashu Zarathushtra (en persa moderno: زرتشت, Zartosht), fue un antiguo profeta (o líder espiritual) y filósofo iraní que fundó lo que ahora se conoce como zoroastrismo. Sus enseñanzas desafiaron las tradiciones existentes de la religión indoirania e inauguraron un movimiento que finalmente se convirtió en la religión dominante en la antigua Persia y que dio forma a la filosofía persa; así como también influyó en el desarrollo de religiones como el judaísmo, el cristianismo y el islam.
