John Harrison

John Harrison (Foulby, 24 de marzo de 1693 - 24 de marzo de 1776) fue un relojero inglés autodidacta, famoso por haber diseñado y puesto en funcionamiento el primer cronómetro marino de alta precisión, con el cual era posible determinar la longitud con exactitud cuando se habían recorrido largas distancias.
