أميرُ المُؤمِنين وخَليفَةُ المُسْلِمين الحاجُّ العابد والإمامُ المُجاهد أجلُّ مُلوك الدُّنيا أبُو جَعْفَر هارُون الرَّشيد بن مُحمَّد المِهدي بن عبد الله المَنْصُور بن مُحمَّد بن علي بن عبد الله بن العبَّاس القُرَشيُّ الهاشِميُّ (1 مُحرَّم 149 – 3 جُمادى الآخرة 193هـ / 19 فبراير 766 – 24 مارس 809م)، المَعرُوف باسمه ولقبه هارُون الرَّشيد أو الرَّشيد، هو خامس خُلَفاء بني العَبَّاس، والخليفة الرَّابع والعشرون في ترتيب الخُلَفاء عن النبي مُحمَّد. حكم الدَّولة العبَّاسية (15 ربيع الأول 170 – 3 جُمادى الآخرة 193هـ / 14 سبتمبر 786 – 24 مارس 809م)، ودام حكمه ثلاثًا وعشرين سنة وشهرين وثمانية عشر يومًا حتى وفاته. وُلد هارُون بن مُحمَّد في مدينة الرَّي من إقليم الجِبال، مُتلقيًا تعليمًا جيدًا في صباه، فأحب العلم والأدب، وتدرَّب على الفُروسيَّة والفُنون القتاليَّة. اقرأ المزيد على ويكيبيديا
