Roberto Mangabeira Unger (; Brazilian Portuguese: [ˈũɡɛʁ]; born 24 March 1947) is a Brazilian philosopher and politician. His work is in the tradition of Western philosophy and classical social theory, and is developed across fields in legal theory, philosophy and religion, social and political theory, progressive alternatives, and economics.
