Jean-Louis Debré (French pronunciation: [ʒɑ̃ lwi dəbʁe]; 30 September 1944 – 4 March 2025) was a French judge and politician who served as President of the National Assembly from 2002 to 2007 and President of the Constitutional Council from 2007 to 2016. He was Minister of the Interior from 1995 until 1997 during the presidency of Jacques Chirac. From 2016 until his death, he was President of the Superior Council of Archives. Read more on Wikipedia
