Hans Blumenberg (German: [ˈbluːmənˌbɛʁk]; 13 July 1920, Lübeck – 28 March 1996, Altenberge) was a German philosopher and intellectual historian. He died on 28 March 1996 in Altenberge (near Münster), Germany.
