Agrippina Arkadyevna Dontsova (Russian: Агриппи́на Арка́дьевна Донцо́ва (Васи́льева); born 7 June 1952 in Moscow), primarily known as Darya Dontsova (Russian: Дарья Донцова) (before marriage known as Vasilyeva) is a Russian writer of detective novels, scriptwriter, TV presenter and member of the Union of Writers of Russia. Winner of a number of literary awards. Over the years, according to official data of the Russian Book Chamber, Dontsova takes the first place in Russia among adult fiction authors on the total annual circulation of books published by it.
