Sebastiaan Jacques Henri "Bas" van de Goor (born 4 September 1971) is a retired volleyball player from the Netherlands who represented his native country at two consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 1996 in Atlanta. Van de Goor was elected twice as the most valuable player of the Olympics (1996 and 2000). He was a middle blocker. At van de Goor's Olympic debut, he won the gold medal, alongside his younger brother and three-time Olympian, Mike, by defeating arch rivals Italy (3–2) in the final. Read more on Wikipedia
