Audrys Juozas Bačkis (Lithuanian: [ɐʊˈdʲrʲiːs ˈjuɔzɐs ˈbaːtɕkʲɪs]; born 1 February 1937) is a Lithuanian prelate of the Catholic Church and a cardinal since 2001. He worked in the diplomatic service of the Holy See from 1964 to 1991, when he became Archbishop of Vilnius. He retired in 2013. Read more on Wikipedia
