Albert Einstein (14 March 1879 – 18 April 1955) was a German-born theoretical physicist who is best known for developing the theory of relativity. Einstein also made important contributions to quantum theory. His mass–energy equivalence formula E = mc2, which arises from special relativity, has been called "the world's most famous equation". He received the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics for his services to theoretical physics, and especially for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect. Read more on Wikipedia

His biography is available in different languages on Wikipedia. Albert Einstein is the 2nd most popular physicist, the 2nd most popular biography from Germany (up from 3rd in 2019) and the most popular German Physicist.

Albert Einstein is most famous for his theory of relativity. He developed the theory in 1905 and it is now one of the most important theories in modern physics. The theory states that time and space are not absolute and that they are relative to the observer. It also states that the speed of light is constant.
