Mozes (Hebreeuws: מֹשֶׁה Mosje, Oudgrieks: Μωυσῆς Mōysēs of Μωσῆς Mōsēs, Latijn: Moyses of Moses, was volgens de Tenach de grootste profeet (op grond van Numeri 12:6-8, Deuteronomium 34:10 en Exodus 24:12). De Hebreeuwse Bijbel beschrijft hem als de leider van de Israëlieten bij de uittocht uit Egypte en tijdens de doortocht door de woestijn tot aan de grenzen van Kanaän. Traditioneel worden aan Mozes ook de eerste vijf Bijbelboeken toegeschreven (de Thora), waardoor de gehele wetgeving van Israël door zijn autoriteit werd geschraagd.
