Noel Joseph Terence Montgomery Needham, CH, FRS, FBA (Londen, 9 december 1900 – Cambridge, 24 maart 1995), ook bekend als Li Yuese (Chinees:李約瑟, Lǐ Yuēsè: Wade-Giles: Li Yüeh-Sê), was een Brits academicus en sinoloog, befaamd om zijn diepgravende publicaties over de geschiedenis van de Chinese wetenschap en techniek. Hij werd in 1941 verkozen tot Fellow (lid) van de Royal Society en in 1971 tot lid van de British Academy In 1992 heeft koningin Elizabeth II hem de Orde van de Eregezellen toegekend.
