Alfred Charles Kinsey (Hoboken, N.J., 23 juni 1894 - Bloomington, 25 augustus 1956) was een Amerikaans bioloog en seksuoloog die aan de wieg stond van de seksuele revolutie. Alfred Kinsey studeerde biologie aan Bowdoin College en Harvard Universiteit en promoveerde op een proefschrift over de studie van de galwespen.
