Serse I (in persiano antico 𐎧𐏁𐎹𐎠𐎼𐏁𐎠 Khashayaarashaa, traslitterato anche come Xšayāršā, lett. "sovrano sugli uomini"; in greco antico Ξέρξης?, Xérxēs; Iran, 519 a.C. – 465 a.C.) fu gran re dell'Impero achemenide dal 485 a.C. alla sua morte. Serse I è noto nella storia occidentale soprattutto per la sua invasione della Grecia nel 480 a.C.
