Howell Cobb (Louisville, 7 settembre 1815 – New York, 9 ottobre 1868) è stato un politico e generale statunitense. Fu uno dei principali statisti statunitensi della prima metà del XIX secolo. Importante esponente del Partito Democratico, fu speaker della Camera dei rappresentanti degli Stati Uniti tra il 1849 e il 1851 e Segretario al tesoro per il presidente James Buchanan tra il 1857 e il 1860.
