Howell Cobb

Howell Cobb (7 de septiembre de 1815 - 9 de octubre de 1868), militar y político estadounidense. Un demócrata del sur, Cobb fue miembro de la Cámara de Representantes de los Estados Unidos por cinco períodos y Presidente de la Cámara de Representantes de 1849 a 1851. También fue el 40.º Gobernador de Georgia (1851-1853) y Secretario del Tesoro bajo la presidencia de James Buchanan (1857-1860).
