Tolui

Tolui, né en 1191 ou 1192 et mort en 1232, est le plus jeune fils de Gengis Khan et de Börte. Général de premier plan lors des premières conquêtes mongoles, Tolui est l'un des principaux candidats pour succéder à son père après sa mort en 1227 et sert finalement comme régent de l'Empire mongol jusqu'à l'accession de son frère Ögedei deux ans plus tard.
