Bulwell is a market town and former civil parish in the City of Nottingham district of Nottinghamshire, England. It lies 3 miles (5 km) south-west of Hucknall and 4.5 miles (7 km) to the north-west of Nottingham. The 2011 census recorded its population at 29,771, which amounted to over 10% of the city's population; 16,157 was recorded for the Bulwell ward of Nottingham City Council.
