Hagar
Agar ou Hagar (hebraico: הָגָר, hebraico moderno: Hagar, tiberiano: Hāḡār, "estrangeiro"; grego: Άγαρ Agar; latim: Agar; árabe: هاجر; Hājar), de acordo com as crenças Abraâmicas, é a serva egípcia de Sara, esposa de Abraão de acordo com o livro de Gênesis na Torá, capítulos 16 e 21. Devido ao fato de ser estéril, Sara teria permitido que Abraão coabitasse com Agar no sentido de gerar um herdeiro. Desta união, foi gerado Ismael o que fez Agar desprezar Sara, já que esta não podia conceber, e quando Sara concebeu milagrosamente a Isaque, Ismael passou a perseguir e humilhar seu meio-irmão.
