Frederick Delius

Frederick Theodore Albert Delius, CH (Bradford, Yorkshire, 29 de janeiro de 1862 - Grez-sur-Loing, 10 de junho de 1934) foi um compositor inglês. Nascido no Norte de Inglaterra no seio de uma abastada família de mercadores, sempre se opôs a seguir uma carreira comercial. Foi enviado para a Flórida, nos Estados Unidos, em 1884 para administrar uma plantação de laranjas. Rapidamente colocou de parte as suas novas funções e, em 1886, regressou à Europa.
