David Berkowitz
David Richard Berkowitz, nascido como Richard David Falco (Nova Iorque, 1 de junho de 1953) também conhecido como o Filho de Sam (do inglês: Son of Sam) e o Assassino do Calibre .44, é um assassino em série (serial killer) estadunidense, que aterrorizou a cidade de Nova Iorque com crimes praticados durante julho de 1976 e agosto de 1977, até ser preso. Ao ser preso em agosto de 1977, Berkowitz confessou o assassinato de seis pessoas e os ferimentos em sete outras, com disparos de seu revólver Charter Arms Bulldog com calibre 44.
