Vedad Ibišević (Bosnian pronunciation: [ʋědad ibîːʃeʋitɕ]; born 6 August 1984) is a Bosnian former professional footballer who played as a forward. He is a currently assistant coach of the New York Red Bulls. Ibišević started his professional career at Paris Saint-Germain. He had a two-year loan stint with Dijon, and afterwards went to Germany, where he played for Alemannia Aachen, 1899 Hoffenheim, VfB Stuttgart, before eventually settling in Hertha BSC and later Schalke 04.
