Valdas Ivanauskas (born 31 July 1966) is a Lithuanian professional football manager and former player who played as a forward. He was one of the first Lithuanian players to succeed in top-level European leagues following the country's independence, notably at Austria Wien and Hamburger SV. Ivanauskas earned over 30 caps for the Lithuania national team after previously representing the Soviet Union. As a manager, he has led clubs in Scotland, Germany, Azerbaijan, and Eastern Europe, and served as head coach of the Lithuania national team. He is best remembered for guiding Heart of Midlothian to a Scottish Cup win and a second-place finish in the Scottish Premier League in 2005–06. Read more on Wikipedia
