Thérèse Anne Coffey, Baroness Coffey, (born 18 November 1971), is a British politician who served as Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from September to October 2022 under Liz Truss. A member of the Conservative Party, she was the first female deputy prime minister in British history. Coffey previously served as Environment Secretary, Health Secretary, and Work and Pensions Secretary while serving as the member of Parliament (MP) for Suffolk Coastal from 2010 to 2024.
