Takuya Haneda (羽根田 卓也, Haneda Takuya; born 17 July 1987) is a Japanese male slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2002. He won a bronze medal in the C1 event at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, becoming the first Asian canoeist to win an Olympic medal. Haneda participated in five Olympic Games. At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing he was eliminated in the qualifying round of the C1 event finishing in 14th place. Read more on Wikipedia
