Tahar Rahim (born 4 July 1981) is a French actor. Most known for his performance in A Prophet (2009), for which he won the César Award for Best Actor and César Award for Best Male Revelation, alongside a BAFTA Rising Star Award nomination. In Hollywood, Rahim first starred as FBI agent Ali Soufan in the miniseries The Looming Tower (2018). For his performance as Mohamedou Ould Slahi in The Mauritanian (2021) he received nominations for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor and the BAFTA Award for Best Actor. Read more on Wikipedia
