Shaun Lawrence Sarda Donovan (born January 24, 1966) is an American government official and housing specialist who served as the 15th United States secretary of housing and urban development from 2009 to 2014, and as director of the Office of Management and Budget from 2014 to 2017. Prior to his time in the Obama administration he served as Commissioner of the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development from 2004 to 2009 under Mayor Michael Bloomberg. In February 2020, he filed paperwork to run for Mayor of New York City in the 2021 Democratic primary, which was ultimately won by Eric Adams. In 2023, he was named President and CEO of Enterprise Community Partners, a housing non-profit. Read more on Wikipedia
