Ricardo "Ricky" Gabriel Álvarez (Spanish pronunciation: [riˈkaɾðo ɣaˈβɾjel ˈalβaɾes]; born 12 April 1988) is an Argentine former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder. Álvarez retired from football at the end of 2021. Álvarez began his club career in Argentina in 2008 with Vélez Sársfield.
