Raymond Anthony Mercer (born April 4, 1961) is an American former professional boxer, kickboxer, and mixed martial artist who competed from 1989 to 2009. As an amateur, he won the heavyweight gold medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics. In 1991, Mercer captured the WBO heavyweight title and later successfully defended it against Tommy Morrison.
