Mohamed "Mo" Katir El Haouzi (born 17 February 1998) is a middle- and long-distance runner. Born in Morocco and raised in Spain, he won the bronze medal in the 1500 metres at the 2022 World Athletics Championships and the silver medal in the 5000 metres at the 2023 World Athletics Championships. Katir took silver in the 5000 metres at the 2022 European Championships. Katir holds three Spanish records (1500 m, 3000 m, 5000 m), is a two-time national champion, and is the European indoor record holder for the 3000 metres. Read more on Wikipedia
