Milan Lucic (Serbian pronunciation: [mǐlan lûːtʃitɕ]; born June 7, 1988) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is currently playing on a professional tryout (PTO) with the Springfield Thunderbirds of the American Hockey League (AHL). He played his major junior career with the Vancouver Giants of the Western Hockey League (WHL) for three seasons and captured the Memorial Cup, while being named tournament MVP in 2007. He was selected 50th overall in the 2006 NHL entry draft and made the Boston Bruins roster as a 19-year-old in 2007–08. Three years later, he won a Stanley Cup with the Bruins.
