Michael Schjønberg Christensen (Danish pronunciation: [ˈmi.kʰæːl ˈsjønˌpɛɐ̯]; born 19 January 1967) is a Danish football manager, club official, and former player. He is currently in charge of the women's team of AGF. During his active career, he played more than 100 games for both German clubs Hannover 96 and 1. FC Kaiserslautern, winning the 1991–92 DFB-Pokal with Hannover and the 1997–98 Bundesliga championship with Kaiserslautern. He also represented Danish clubs Esbjerg fB and OB. He played 44 games and scored three goals for the Denmark national team, and was a participant at the international 1995 King Fahd Cup, Euro 1996, 1998 FIFA World Cup, and Euro 2000 tournaments.
