Malik JonMikal Beasley ( mə-LEEK; born November 26, 1996) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Detroit Pistons of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He attended Saint Francis School in Alpharetta, Georgia, where he was a four-star recruit. He played college basketball for the Florida State Seminoles. Beasley had a standout freshman season at Florida State, earning freshman-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) honors after averaging 15.6 points and 5.3 rebounds per game.
