Lori Michelle Chavez-DeRemer (; née Chávez; born April 7, 1968) is an American politician who has served as the 30th United States secretary of labor since 2025. A member of the Republican Party, she served as the U.S. representative for Oregon's 5th congressional district from 2023 to 2025 and as the mayor of Happy Valley, Oregon, from 2011 to 2019. She was the first Republican woman to represent Oregon in the House.
