Kisshomaru Ueshiba (植芝 吉祥丸, Ueshiba Kisshōmaru; June 27, 1921 – January 4, 1999) was a prominent Japanese teacher of aikido. He was the son of Morihei Ueshiba, founder of aikido, and after his father's death in 1969 became the second Dōshu, leader of the art's central organization, Aikikai. Read more on Wikipedia
