James William Dickinson MBE (24 April 1925 – 8 November 1982) was an English footballer who played as a left half. Dickinson holds the record for number of league appearances for Portsmouth (764). Only Swindon Town's John Trollope and Milton Keynes Dons' Dean Lewington have made more appearances for a single club.
