Jared Francisco Borgetti Echavarría (Spanish: [xaˈɾeð βoɾˈxeti] ; born 14 August 1973) is a Mexican former professional footballer who currently works as a commentator for ESPN Deportes and ESPN Mexico. Borgetti earned a reputation as a prolific goal scorer, particularly noted for his exceptional heading skills. He spent most of his playing career with Santos Laguna, where he is the club's all-time leading scorer. Borgetti ranks as the third highest scorer in the history of the Mexican football league.
