Ignazio Abate (Italian pronunciation: [iɲˈɲattsjo aˈbaːte]; born 12 November 1986) is an Italian professional football coach and a former full-back, currently in charge as the head coach of Serie B club Juve Stabia. Although naturally a winger, he could also play as a wide midfielder, wing-back, and on rare occasions, as a centre-back. As a player, Abate was renowned for his stamina, quick sprints, and ability to make attacking runs down the right flank.
