Darlington Joephillip Nagbe (born July 19, 1990) is a professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for and captains Major League Soccer club Columbus Crew. Born in Liberia, he played for the United States national team. After fleeing Liberia due to the First Liberian Civil War, his family eventually settled in Lakewood, Ohio where he played club soccer for the Cleveland Internationals.
