Daniel Constantine Marino Jr. ( mə-REE-noh; born September 15, 1961) is an American former professional football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 17 seasons with the Miami Dolphins. He played college football for the Pittsburgh Panthers, earning first-team All-American honors in 1981.
