Christopher Grant Wood (born 7 December 1991) is a New Zealand professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Nottingham Forest and captains the New Zealand national team. He is widely regarded as one of New Zealand's greatest footballers of all time, and is one of just six New Zealanders to have played in the Premier League. In January 2025, Wood signed a new two-year contract with Nottingham Forest, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2027. Wood started his senior career with Cambridge, Waikato and Hamilton Wanderers before moving to England to play for Premier League club West Bromwich Albion. Read more on Wikipedia
