Rebecca Lynn Hammon (born March 11, 1977) is an American-Russian professional basketball coach and former player who is the head coach of the Las Vegas Aces of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). She is considered among the most influential figures in basketball, as a pioneer for female coaches in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and one of the greatest players and coaches in WNBA history. Hammon played college basketball for the Colorado State Rams, where she was a three-time All-American and left as the program's all-time leader in points and assists.
