Armand Gustav "Mondo" Duplantis (born 10 November 1999) is a Swedish-American pole vaulter who holds both American and Swedish citizenships but competes for Sweden. Duplantis owns the pole vaulting world record (6.30 m; 20 ft 8 in) and is the winner of eight senior global titles. He is a two-time Olympic (2020 and 2024) champion, a three-time World outdoor (2022, 2023 and 2025) champion and a three-time World indoor (2022, 2024 and 2025) champion. Born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana, Duplantis won titles as a 15-year-old at the 2015 World Youth Championships. Read more on Wikipedia
