Anna Lesko (born Anna Stepanivna Lyzhychko; 10 January 1979) is a Moldovan-Romanian singer. Lesko is of Russian-Ukrainian origin and she lived in Moldova until she was 17 years old, when she moved to Romania, where she has lived ever since. When she was still a minor and dancing in a ballet troupe, she met him, Irinel Columbeanu, the millionaire businessman who offered to pay for her college.
