Alain Jean Giresse (French pronunciation: [alɛ̃ ʒiʁɛs]; born 2 August 1952) is a French football coach and former player who last managed Kosovo. Giresse was French Player of the Year in 1982, 1983 and 1987. Nominally an attacking or central midfielder, he was an intelligent playmaker who possessed fine agility and acceleration due to his short frame.
