Lalisa Manobal (Thai: ลลิษา มโนบาล; born Pranpriya Manobal, March 27, 1997), known mononymously as Lisa (Korean: 리사), is a Thai rapper, singer, dancer, and actress. She is a member of the South Korean girl group Blackpink, which debuted under YG Entertainment in August 2016. She made her acting debut in 2025 in the HBO television series The White Lotus. In September 2021, Lisa released her debut single album Lalisa, which made her the first female artist to sell 736,000 copies of an album in its first week in South Korea. The music video for its lead single became the most-viewed music video in the first 24 hours on YouTube by a solo artist. Both "Lalisa" and the album's viral second single "Money" charted in the top ten of the Billboard Global 200, with the latter breaking the record for the longest-charting song by a female K-pop soloist on the US Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart at the time. Lalisa and "Money" became the first album and song by a K-pop solo artist to reach one billion streams on Spotify, respectively. In 2024, Lisa established her own management company named Lloud, signed with RCA Records, and achieved her first number-one single on the Billboard Global Excl. US with "Rockstar", the lead single of her debut studio album Alter Ego (2025). Ramphueng Chithan (Thai: รำพึง จิตร์หาญ; 4 August 1961 – 13 June 1992), known professionally as Pumpuang Duangjan (Thai: พุ่มพวง ดวงจันทร์; RTGS: Phumphuang Duangchan), was a Thai singer and actress. Honored as the "Queen of Luk Thung", she is one of the most celebrated luk thung vocalists in Thailand.

Suraphol Sombatcharoen (25 September 1930 – 16 August 1968) (Thai: สุรพล สมบัติเจริญ) was a Thai luk thung singer. Dubbed the "King of Luk Thung", he was one of the first and most important stars of the genre. He was fatally shot while seated in his own car after a live performance in Nakhon Pathom.

Thongchai McIntyre (Thai: ธงไชย แมคอินไตย์, pronounced [tʰōŋ.tɕʰāj mɛ́k.ʔīn.tāj]; born Albert Thongchai McIntyre; 8 December 1958) is a Thai singer, actor and 2023 National Artist Performing Arts. He is also sometimes known as Bird Thongchai, Phi Bird ("Older brother Bird") or simply Bird (Thai pronunciation: [bɤ́ːt]). He finished high diploma management major from Thonburi Commercial College. Considered to be Thailand's most famous superstar, he is one of the most successful singers in Thailand's history, having sold more than 25 million albums. He is best known for his string (Thai pop) and luk thung music, having debuted in 1986 and quickly became famous with his singing style and stage persona. He has also acted in numerous films, on television, musicals, and in commercials. He is of Mon, Scottish and Thai descent.

5. Jintara Poonlarp (b. 1969)
With an HPI of 55.36, Jintara Poonlarp is the 5th most famous Thai Singer. Her biography has been translated into 74 different languages.
Jintara Poonlarp (Thai: จินตหรา พูนลาภ, RTGS: Chintara Phunlap, pronounced [t͡ɕīn.tā.rǎː pʰūːn.lâːp]; b. 6 March 1969, Kaset Wisai district, Roi Et province, Thailand) is a Thai mor lam, luk thung and pop music singer. She is one of the most popular and prolific of the artists in the mor lam (Thai country) and luk thung (Thai pop-country) genres, having released 50 original albums and 47 singles as well as many compilations. She records roughly equal amounts of mor lam and luk thung, but two of her best-known songs are the string (Thai pop) hits "Ma Tammai" and "Faen Ja," recorded with Thongchai McIntyre. She is also sometimes known by her nickname Jin or the epithet sao siang pin (Thai: สาวเสียงพิณ, meaning "lute-voiced girl"), and she has a unique identity which is short hair with bangs. She has performed on stage for 33 years.

6. Dao Bandon (b. 1947)
With an HPI of 51.96, Dao Bandon is the 6th most famous Thai Singer. His biography has been translated into 21 different languages.
Dao Bandon (Thai: ดาว บ้านดอน) (born 4 January 1947 -), is a Thai Luk thung and Mor lam singer-songwriter. He became popular with his song Khon Khee Lang Kway (Thai: คนขี่หลังควาย, English: A Man On A Buffalo), released in 1977. He has composed many songs for the Thai superstar singer, Jintara Poonlarp, including Rak Salai Dokfai Ban, Jao Bao Hai and Pha Mai Ai Lueam.

Mike Phiromphon (Thai: ไมค์ ภิรมย์พร, also spelled Phiromphorn or Piromporn) (b. July 8, 1966 — ) is a famous Mor lam and Luk thung singer from the Isan region of Thailand. He has many popular songs including "Lakorn Chee Wit", "Phoo Yu Bueang Lang", "Nuei Mai Kon Dee", "Ya Jai Khon Jon", "Klab Kham Sa Lar", "Kae Kaek Rab Chern", "Tee Pueng Khon Klai", "Yang Rak Kan Yoou Rue Plao", "Pha Lar Boon" etc. Phiromphon is considered to be the first luk thung singer whose song has been played on a Thai Airways (THAI) flight.
