Jej starszą siostrą była Eudokia, żona Palladiusza, syna cesarza Petroniusza Maksymusa a także Huneryka, syna Genzeryka. Po zdobyciu Rzymu w roku 455 przez Genzeryka, razem z matką Licynią Eudoksją i siostrą Eudokią, została przewieziona do Kartaginy.
