Meriwether Lewis (Ivy, Albemarle County (Virginia), 18 augustus 1774 - Hohenwald (Tennessee), 11 oktober 1809) was een Amerikaans ontdekkingsreiziger, militair en politicus. Hij is voornamelijk bekend als leider van de Lewis en Clark expeditie. Hij was ook een achterneef van Fielding Lewis.
