Harold Faltermeyer (München, 5 oktober 1952) is een Duitse filmcomponist en muzikant. Na zijn studies aan de Muziekhogeschool van München was hij onder andere lang actief als componist (van filmmuziek) in de Verenigde Staten. Wereldwijde bekendheid bereikte hij als componist van Axel F, de titelmelodie van de Beverly Hills Cop-films. Faltermeyer won met Axel F als eerste Duitse muzikant een Grammy Award.
