Theodore Robert Cowell, noto come Ted Bundy (Burlington, 24 novembre 1946 – Starke, 24 gennaio 1989), è stato un serial killer statunitense. Autore di almeno trentasei omicidi di giovani donne tra il 1974 e il 1978, potrebbe aver colpito anche a partire dagli anni '60. Il suo modus operandi consisteva nell'attirare le vittime fingendo disabilità, difficoltà motorie oppure impersonando figure autoritarie per poi aggredirle e stuprarle in luoghi appartati.
